Patrick goes out of his way to make sure you have a wonderful turtle experience. The fact he takes complimentary GoPro photos of all his guests with the turtles and doesn’t charge extra says a lot about the way he runs his business. (Also he and his wife have 11 dogs, rescued from stays on the island- you know he has a kind heart too!) I’m a weak swimmer (rheumatoid arthritis) and my husband isn’t a swimmer at all. We’ve never snorkeled before. He provided all our snorkel gear and snorkel vests. He made sure all of us were included in the experience. We enjoyed our time spent with them during our short stop (earlier departure than planned) while in Curaçao on a cruise. They made sure we all got back to the ship with time to spare. We visited several beautiful beaches and the turtle encounter was by far exceeded our expectations! About 5 or 6 sea turtles up close and swimming around us. It was amazing. Patrick fed the turtles to keep them around and took tons of photos and sent to us without any extra charge. They picked us up at the pier and returned us back with plenty of time to visit the shops in the town. We’ve traveled the Caribbean numerous times and took other turtle encounters but never as good as this. Plus we only had 15 in our group which made it more personal. He even made sure we had water and soda for our comfort. I highly recommend this excursion! You will not regret it. You can rent a beach chair if needed. Then on to snorkeling with turtles about 10 minutes away at Playa Piskado. I’ve been to the Great Barrier Reef, Zanzibar, Madagascar, all the islands of Hawaii, and never seen this many turtles this close to me while in the water. A dream come true! We were... read moreMy daughter and I took this excursion while in port on a cruise. It was outstanding from beginning to end. Patrick and Sexy Eddie were our tour guides. We were picked up just outside the terminal gate in a large passenger van. Patrick and Sexy Eddie kept us busy during the ride with Curacao history and culture. We traveled about 30 minutes to our first stop along the road for a photo op of dozens of flamingos wading through the beautiful waters close to shore. It was worth the stop. The contrast of the pink birds against the blue waters is beautiful. The next stop is just minutes away at Grote Knip Beach. The beach is breathtaking. It is tucked into a cove of white sand with crystal blue water teeming with fish for snorkeling. The beach has chairs and umbrellas available. The chairs are $10 and the umbrella is $15. They give you a ticket that can be used on other beaches to obtain another chair/umbrella without paying another fee. There is a refreshment stand there. We were there early and it wasn't open yet. (It smelled good) There were restroom facilities available. Stop three-Playa Piscado the turtle swim was about 15 minutes away. It is a picturesque fishing area that brings sea turtles to the area to feed on the remnants left after the catch of the day is cleaned. Patrick and Sexy Eddie made sure our bags were safe and we had access to snorkel gear and life jackets. Patrick was great at making sure our group had space and a lot of time to interact with the turtles. It was a great experience. Patrick took dozens of images and videos of our experience. He made sure he downloaded the images to each of us on the ride back to the port. The images were beautiful. I want to thank Patrick and Sexy Eddie for their great customer care. I almost canceled because I was injured the day before and had concerns about my ability to navigate the tour. They made sure I was comfortable and able to fully participate. They were outstanding! Because we were on a cruise, our time was limited. Taking a private tour is always a risk. The time in this port is limited but Patrick made sure that we arrived back at the ship in plenty of time. They even made sure that I knew that there was a transport service available to take me back to the ship. I would do this excursion again without a read less

However, he was particularly patient with me, who at 80 years old and already a bit slow moving, had manages to strain an achilles the day before our tour. Though it could not be helped that Covid was on everybody's mind, I had zero concerns on this excursion. It was great to see the local fishermen working at the turtle stop as they unloaded and cleaned their catch. The building where we were briefed was entirely within character for such a location and added to the fun. Since I could not manage the steps to the roof for the group's briefing, which ordinarily would have been taken with care, Patrick gave me the needed info 1 on 1 at the shore. We booked this excursion as a stop on our cruise aboard the Celebrity Silhouette. Pick up was easy and a very short walk from the ship ~2min. We stopped at the Rum Factory, Flamingo Sanctuary, Playa Piskado to snorkel with Sea Turtles (Patrick took amazing pictures and was able to share them right away with airdrop), and swam at Grote Knip (the most beautiful beach we have ever seen, and we've seen a lot!). We did not visit the Shete Boka on this trip as we were advised the heat was too unbearable this day and had lots of swimming time at Grote Knip. We felt it really lucked out in our favor since we loved Grote Knip so much. Sevi, Patrick, and our driver Larry were outstanding, so friendly and welcoming and made the tour unforgettable.
