Great experience! A top excursion with a great guide team, ela fantastic tour of the island, and a memorable experience with th We couldn't have been any happier with this experience! Patrick, our guide, and "Sexy" Eddy, our driver, were just top notch for the entire excursion. We spent several hours with them, exploring the island, and all the while, they provided insightful history, commentary, and some good-natured ribbing of one another.
We saw several flamingoes at our first stop, passed through villages and countryside, and spent over an hour at the beautiful beach. The beach was not overly crowded, the scenery was tremendous, and the swimming was great. I would recommend water shoes if you have them, as there is a bit of shell/coral at the edge of the water.
The sea turtle swim was epic. It was very crowded when we arrived at the location, but Patrick expertly held us back at a private terrace until the crowded thinned so we could get the most from the experience. This was a great move, and the crowd diminished greatly in less than half an hour. We then spent 40 minutes in the water, up close and personal with the turtles, and it was just awesome! Patrick took tons of photos, which he then shared with us as part of the fee for the experience (air drop to apple device is the easiest and preferred method).
On the way back to the cruise terminal, we saw more of the city, and they went out of their way to show us additional sights of interest, including murals, churches, and other notable buildings.
This was a great tour, and I wholeheartedly endorse it!
